Libermann Pre and Primary Catholic School in Kipawa is operated in the tradition of the Holy Ghost Fathers who have ministered to Tanzania since 1868.
Holy Ghost Fathers (Spiritans) view education as vital in all their ministries. Basic education is the first step out of poverty and toward the Gospel. We educate youth to take them out of the cycle of crime, drugs and unemployment, and to offer a positive pathway to breaking down the digital divide enhancing greater equality of oppportunity for children living in an economically impoverished part of Dar es Salaam set against a planned multi-annual development plan.
Consequently learning at Kipawa Libermann Catholic School is a priority due to the holistic knowledge, skills, spirituality and values students acquire.
Children come to our school in order to be taught how to develop skills of learning and to cultivate the culture of learning in order to develop a lifelong love of learning. The knowledge skills, values they gain here in the supportive learning environment of Kipawa Libermann, will empower them to continue their learning journey long after they left Kipawa Libermann doors.
And in the future we hope that they will achieve our main goal as expressed in our school motto “Education is key to integral development. It is through two guiding principles that we are able to offer the learning environment to our children, that is, we are guided by our mission and vision.
Therefore, our mission and vision sustain us in our daily tasks to educate and care for our children at Libermann Catholic School while offering them a productive learning environment.
We hope that you will enjoy visiting our website, and will return often.

Limited access to educational excellence and innovation narrows the life chances of young people in many countries, most notably in Africa. Camara helps to unlock the potential of young people by working with governments, ministries of education, and other educational experts to help deliver to both schools and teachers in communities around the world. It delivers support, information, and technology to promote change and improvement in education to enable young people to attain better grades.
Education is a basic human right. But resources for schools are sometimes extremely limited. Camara provides schools with computers and the relevant training to help improve the education experience and to help communities access the digital economy. Through education, Camara believes it is possible to increase living standards. There are many studies and observations demonstrating the link between education and escape from poverty, and there are many ways to address access to and improvement in education.
Camara is dedicated to providing equal learning opportunities to children in disadvantaged communities around the world. We aim to empower and inspire the next generation of youths to fulfil their potential through the use of technology. By providing digital learning platforms for children in these communities we can open up a whole new world of information and help the youth of tomorrow fulfil their potential.
The children in these countries are brimming with potential and we need to continue to support and enhance the abilities of our younger generation for future success. Together we can all make a difference in youth and skill development and work towards creating a more sustainable future for all.
Since 2005, Camara has raised and generated €20m, trained 24,000 teachers across 4,000 eLearning Centres, and installed 80,000 computers, enabling 1,800,000 children to improve their educational outcomes, including the attainment of better grades.
We are proud to partner with Camara in this technological advance for our students---the fuure leaders of Tanzania
